Turning up the highbacks to max, killing a black diamond, losesning up those straps and hitting a jump, racing your friends, carve snow at a girl, freezing your ass on the chairlift, hold the index and pinky fingers up and say, ROCK ON!
Here are some shots of Rome SDS Northwest Regional shred Jeff Rudinski got over the summer in Govy…
Here are some shots of Rome Regional rider Jess Kimura that showed up in the pages of SBC this month...
Off-piste in Israel held a jam in 110 degree weather on some good-ole fashioned fish factory snow. Thanks to Skullcandy and Corona for helping to support the good times.
This past Saturday, Rome SDS and Out of Bounds in NJ put on a parking lot rail session. Despite the rainy, wet weather, riders from The Dirty Jers came out to get their fix before winter really drops. Thanks to everyone who came out. All pics by Robbie Brannigan.
Next Wednesday, No Correct Way will be premiering over at Buffalo Bills in Whistler, BC. For the second consecutive year Rome’s Premature Jibulation went down at the Summit at Snoqualmie and once again there was no snow. This however did not stop Krush and his killer park crew from making jibulation possible. Bags of shaved ice were trucked in and smashed up to provide riders with a shreddable surface. As you can see from the photos, a whopping 160 riders showed up to session, to eat hot dogs and enjoy the sun.
Usually the first day snowboarding feels like the first day learning how to swim. A 3-6 month summer break does that to you. I hate that awkward feeling of strapping in to your bindings the first time after a long summer break. Well, this year was different for me. After hunting down the snow all summer. Travelling to summer camps at Mt. Hood, Southern hemisphere powder riding in New Zealand and Chile. I only ended up having less then a month break, before I strapped into my bindings again for the first day of shredding this season! Man what a good feeling it was! The sad thing though is that I don’t think I will ever take a 3-month surf vacation again as long as I’m a pro snowboarder. That awkward feeling is just not worth it!
Premature Jibulation is going down this weekend on Saturday, November 22nd at Seven Springs in PA, Buck Hill in MN and Waterville Valley in NH. Early season shred and good times to be had by all.

We just got the new issue of TWS which should be hitting news stands soon, and inside is not one, not two, but three interviews with Rome team riders. Eiki, LNP, and Marie-France are all featured in the new mag, check it out when you can.
Due to weather conditions Premature Jibulation is going to have to be delayed 1 week until Saturday November the 22nd. It’s just been a little too warm to blow enough snow to truck down the mountain and mother nature looks like she was planning on throwing a good amount of rain our way this Saturday. Temps are dropping on Sunday, so snowmaking should be a go through the week making the 22nd good and white.
With snow flying and the resorts opening up in North America and Europe every day, the Rome SDS is introducing their 2008-09 Limited Edition Collection: two limited-edition new board designs featuring two new camber lines to enhance your park and powder pleasures—the Postermania 1985 and Anthem Superlight Series (SS).
Don't call it a comeback! So last season Silvia got taken out with a knee injury in early January, she was out for the entire season, but this summer she shredded in Whistler and Europe rehabbing her knee and getting ready for the season. Well it looks like it paid off because she just got second in the first major European contest of the year; the Horsefeathers "Pleasure Jam". Congrats Silvia!
